The production prototype, chassis number 0000, was the only Tucker with rubber-disc suspension derived from the Miller raceing cars, a 9.65 liter flat six, and direct torque converter drivewith no reverse gear. This gave rise to the false rumor that later Tuckers couldn not reverse. The big six was later replaced with Tucker’s standard 5.5 liter aircooled six. (Alex Tremulis)
