I was in contact with the research assistant for Churchill’s Secret Affair (originally titled Churchill’s Secret Mistress) and I have to say I found the overall research to be shoddy. I offered insightful anecdotes regarding the ‘affair’ (which I dismissed) but that doesn’t make good TV, does it?
